Re:Void is a text-based roleplaying world built out of nessecity, inspiration, and loneliness. You are not a hero. You are not some empty thing to be cast aside.
You are a memory given flesh — a fragment of something that refused to stop existing.
In this patch of void, the rules of before mean nothing.
Reality is sculpted in prose and ink. Factions form not only for war, but for family and companionship. This is not some game you win. This is a world you haunt.
Hello, lovelies. Your neighborhood Witch has been busy behind the scenes today — here's a quick rundown of what got polished up while the candles were burning.
✦ Character Profiles — Now Actually Readable
Character profile pages on the website now properly resolve zone descriptions. If your physical description uses zone tokens, what visitors see on your profile page is the rendered result — smooth prose, no raw code leaking through. Descriptions also format into clean paragraphs rather than one long wall of text.
✦ Smarter Look & Outfit Display
The look command got a quiet but meaningful upgrade. If a zone is already woven into your description via a token, it won't show up a second time in the worn items summary — no more awkward duplication. Zones that aren't in your description but do have items will now read naturally: "On her waist, a silk sash tied loosely at the hip." Small thing, big difference.
✦ Description Editors
Running setdesc with no arguments now opens a proper multi-line text editor instead of just staring at you blankly. Same goes for zone set <zone> — no argument needed to drop into the editor for that zone's description. Write at your leisure, save when you're done.
✦ Under the Hood
A handful of quieter fixes landed as well — template tag registration, app configuration, and some zone data cleanup that was causing items to stick around longer than they should. The kind of work that's invisible when it's done right.
